Romania. Gipsies are quite a normal sight there and everything she has around here reminds me of my grand-mother's home. :)

LOL yeah, it was made from a photo of me in my Halloween costume. It's actually two skirts one over the other. One is all blue and green and the one on top is a whole dress which is a bit see trough and it's black with pink roses. Both aren'r really designer clothes. Just something I bought from an Outlet mall where I normally purchase my clothes :) I'm happy you like it  Painting is not sold yet btw.

Wow! So many colors, patterns, textures, and details, and so perfectly done. This is seriously amazing! I love the way the back wall is rather plain compared to the rest. It really makes the face stand out. =D

I agree with you regarding the face, it could do with a bit more detail to make it work with the rest of the picture. I think the foot is OK. I wouldn't dream of giving you tips on painting technique oils are a no go area for me. Have a nice Sunday.:)

Hi Sweet Dolly!

Great Painting, as you always do... by my side, i only change a few things: you made perfectly every details on this image, but i think that, on your face there's not many details as you did on the rest (lights, shadows and textures). I also think that the foot is a little big...on the rest i see everything nice :D...

Ehhhmmm...maybe only make the details of the important things on the image and make the rest with less detaills....making the effects form the center (more details) to the extremes (less details)...

My opinion of this image as it is: VERY NICE!

Spend a good week, Dolly!!

Hugs

Hi :D
Glad to hear from you! Thank you so much for the tips! The funny thing is that I made the foot smaller than it was on the photo, and I agree that it still looks big. The thing is that she is leaning back and that's why her foot looks bigger than her head..but yeah, that might not be the most atractive thing..he he..unless someone has a foot fetish =P
I agree about the face too. I actually did paint a different face and I hated it, so I repainted this one on top, and because it was still wet, I couldn't put more detail, or I would have ruined it. I probably do once it dried out!
Thank you so much for the help

You're very welcome, my friend!

Sometimes it's needed to "change" the reality of the photograph to make a drawing... and yeah, i like a lot foots =P=P but i think i'm not a fetish :D.

I'm too sad because of my NO art production :(. I don't know what to do. I have a unfinished drawing and some deas for anothers, but i don't find the perfect moment to make them...
I think i'm tired, but i don't know why...
Well, nice to know you again, Dolly, i hope to write you again D:heart:

Oooh, you are tired from school work? I thought you paint a lot for school projects?! It is a pitty that you have all those ideas that you can't acomplish. If you could just take and hour or two a day, you can still finish some of them.. or in the weekends..I don't find much time drawing myself, but mine is more from procrasination =P

yeah, i have some school projects, but i don't like them. it's so bored!! And when i get home or i finally find free time i don't want to paint or draw.:(
I know i wouldn't do i: I should take some days a few hours to work seriously in my own projects.

I hope i will show you something new before the year ends!=P

Have a nice day^^

what a great piece of art!
The only thing that could maybe
use some extra attention is the background,
it looks a little too rough compared to the rest.
Succes!

Thank you for the comment :) I tried to fix those black parts of the blanket and the wall on the back will have to be redone. Hope I don't ruin it even more though..he he
