This is my submission for the contest “Dark Shadows-the Barnabas portrait project” Phew! That was so close to the deadline!

Ok guys, I'm not sure about the Mc Donald's sign I used. It is a corporate logo, but it WAS a scene in the movie Dark Shadows. I saw it on the trailer which I post a link above.

So, would i be disqualified for using it??

I wanted to do something a bit different from the classic style portrait, have some fun with it and try to give it some “groove” or whatever they called it during the 70’s

From what I gathered B. Collins is supposed to be the classic vampire who wakes up in 1972 and is as much intimidated by the environment as people are afraid of him. So my concept was to show him embracing the modern American culture as one of the goals of the contest was to give the guy a makeover and create something more…imaginative. So here it is
